Does eczema bother you ? Does eczema has a major impact on your life ? If your answer is yes, you are not alone! ! Eczema is a terrible condition that bothers millions of people all across the globe . As a former eczema sufferer myself , I know first hand what you are going through . The symptoms: redness, ugly rashes, burning and especially the severe itching can be really unbearable at times. However, if you need help with eczema then I am about to share some tips with you that you can use to reduce your symptoms .
Tip #1 – Do not scratch the affected areas
This can be a difficult task for most people . The truth is, the itching can be really terrible and at times you may even want to rip your skin off . However, itching the affected area will only make a bad condition worse . Here is a little trick you can try to prevent your from scratching the area too much . It worked for me and I hope it’ll work for you!
Simple – Sit on your hands when you feel the urge to itch . That’s it! It may sound simple but it really works, just try it.
Tip #2 – Watch your diet
Most people are allergic to a lot of food kinds and don’t even know it . Some of the common stuff that normally aggravate the skin are sea foods such as shell fish, lobster, shrimp and other foods such as nuts and eggs. There may be other foods that you could be allergic to and not even be allergic to these . Therefore, observe if your condition gets worse after eating certain types of foods . Avoid foods that you think you may be allergic to .
Tip #3 – Be careful Of What You Use On Your Skin
I don’t know about you, but I normally spray myself with body splashes and perfumes. But what I found out is that there are chemicals in these that can irritate your eczema. So do not do that and try to use only lotions that are medicated. Most of the times these will not be scented but they are less aggressive on your skin.
Tip #4 – Drink a lot of Water Daily
Water will help to keep your skin hydrated so that it doesn’t look dry and flaky . Doctors recommend that you should drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day as it will help to keep you healthier overall. To be honest, I couldn’t drink that much water everyday but once I started drinking more water than I usually do I found that my skin started to look better.
The above four tips should help you if you need help with eczema . They are proven to work so all you need to do is just try them .
