Did you know you are a walking toxic storage facility? is a reality, and mainstream science and medicine  is becoming more keenly aware of the problem. Recently, National Geographic featured an article on just how poisoned we really are.  

 

Beginning at birth, our bodies start storing trace amounts of toxins and other chemicals, first from breast milk, and even leaching from plastic bottles into infant formula. We then graduate to becoming storehouses for heavy metals, such as mercury and lead, and for other toxins, such as those found in household cleaners, and even in the food we eat and the air we breathe.

But  don’t take my word for it: recently, an article appeared in National Geographic called “Chemicals Within Us” that shoudl wake up all the skeptics out there.

Regular Dude, Major Problems

As told in the story, author David Ewing Duncan has expensive toxicity tests performed as an experiment for his article. Here’s an portion:

“…Last fall I had myself tested for 320 chemicals I might have picked up from food, drink, the air I breathe, and the products that touch my skin—my own secret stash of compounds acquired by merely living. It includes older chemicals that I might have been exposed to decades ago, such as DDT and PCBs; pollutants like lead, mercury, and dioxins; newer pesticides and plastic ingredients; and the near-miraculous compounds that lurk just beneath the surface of modern life, making shampoos fragrant, pans nonstick, and fabrics water-resistant and fire-safe.
The tests are too expensive for most individuals—National Geographic paid for mine, which would normally cost around $15,000—and only a few labs have the technical expertise to detect the trace amounts involved. I ran the tests to learn what substances build up in a typical American over a lifetime, and where they might come from. I was also searching for a way to think about risks, benefits, and uncertainty—the complex trade-offs embodied in the chemical “body burden” that swirls around inside all of us.

Far-fetched? Not at all. And it doesn’t stop there. A chemist told Duncan that he didn’t want to make him “nervous”, but that he should know about extremely dangerous levels of PBPEs (a chemical found in flame-retardant items) in his system. Other toxins found in the author’s body included mercury, PFAs (found in banned stain repellents), DDT (a pesticide banned in the 1960s), bisphenol A, phthalates, and more; all of which can and do contribute to physical and neurological illnesses.

So Why Is He Toxic?

Ewing began a quest to find out where he might have picked up so many toxins. Guess what? He doesn’t come up with anything really extraordinary; he’s lived and worked and traveled no differently than millions of other Americans.

In all likelihood, we’re just as poisoned as he is. Most can’t afford $15,000 in tests, so what to do?

One answer, and probably the most obvious, is to search for a way to detox. We all know the toxins are there — so the solution is to get rid of them! But is it necessary to to put one’s self through traditional (and most likely, less effective) cleansing processes? No. According to recent studies,there is a way to cleanse your body without blowing out bits of intestine!

It is called liquid zeolite, and it is could be the health breakthrough for which humankind has waited aeons. 

Zeolite has been here since the earth’s formation–lurking mysteriously in the oceans surrounding volcanic activity–and consisting of the four major elements: earth, air, water, and fire. Some healers in Asia have used it in its raw form for overall good health for hundreds of years. Only recently has liquid zeolite gone mainstream.

Science doesn’t doubt the unique structure and properties of zeolite. In its liquified form, it acts as a chelator. The actual Zeolite molecule looks like a honeycomb. Its ions are negatively charged, which attracts the positively charged toxins, heavy metals, allergens, and other waste into the structure like a magnet. After the positively-charged elements bond with the zeolite, they are flushed out of the system naturally with no harmful side effects.

We’re Living Longer, But Getting Sicker…

While our life spans grow longer with each passing decade, what we often don’t realize is that the cancer rate is rising, heart disease is more common at an earlier age, and the rates of autism and other neurological diseases are skyrocketing. Our “chemical” exposures are rising too. The evidence seems clear: we live in a poisonous world and it is wreaking havoc on our health.

Ewing and National Geographic were both onto something when they took on the project for his article. 

In conclusion, we live in a world that is not so pristine as it once was. While the proof is unsettling, it is a relief to know that this crisis has a potential resolution in a detox with liquid zeolite.
