So Why Do You Experience Stomach Pains

At one time or another, almost all of us have had to go through some sort of stomach pain. Caused by a variety of different conditions and issues, stomach pain is very often the result of eating something that didn’t agree with your stomach. When this is the case, the pain in stomach usually does not last long, as it may be relieved once a bowel movement takes place. Another cause of the common stomach ache can be something as simple as gas builds up in the intestinal tract brought on by certain foods or swallowing large amounts of air.

It may be however, that the cause of the pain and discomfort isn’t something so straightforward. Stomach pain may be due to an inflamed or distended organ in the abdominal area. It may not be the stomach, but adjacent organs that are affected, such as the liver, pancreas, small intestine, colon, gallbladder and spleen. A problem in the stomach or any one of these other organs can cause stomach pain. The pain may be stemming from inflammation, distention, or even a problem with the blood supply to any of the aforementioned organs.

Abdominal problems due to inflammation include appendicitis, colitis and diverticulitis. Examples of distention (over stretching) would be a swelling of the liver due to hepatitis, gallstones that impede a bile duct, or an obstruction somewhere in the intestinal tract. Ischemic colitis or similar issue is the result of a loss or inadequate supply of blood being circulated in the organ and is quite painful.

Apart from these, other diseases and medical conditions can give rise to pain in stomach, even though there is no inflammation, distention nor loss of blood supply to the organs in the abdominal area. Such is the case in a little understood disorder called irritable bowel syndrome or IBS. Intestinal muscles that contract abnormally and cause pain is the common symptom of IBS sufferers. Nerves located in the intestinal tract can become extremely sensitive and cause pain; even though there is no discernable reason present. Visceral hypersensitivity is the term for this condition that is otherwise more generally categorized as a type of functional pain… or pain that is occurring without a discernable root cause

As you can tell, there are any number of factors that can cause stomach pain, and as such it is very important that the actual root cause be pinpointed. A proper treatment for the pain becomes much more quickly available once the actual source of the pain has been properly diagnosed by your doctor.

As a part of the diagnosis process, the doctor will need to determine the characteristics of the stomach pain such as how and when it began, its location, the duration, and what either sets off or relieves it. All of the aforementioned details combined together to create what is known as the pain characteristics and they are key information in attaining the proper diagnosis.

Your doctor will more than likely conduct a more thorough exam and depending upon the scenario, conduct some lab or radiological testing. Although rare, surgery may be needed in order to determine the exact cause of the stomach pain. Diagnosis is not an easy matter because many organs and various disorders are being considered. Pain that is atypical or having no common manifestation or that even changes over time can add even another layer of complexity to the diagnosis process.

Even lab tests can come back negative even though the pain is quite real and there is something causing it.  Stomach pains are not something that should be ignored or treated lightly, be sure to get with your doctor if you are experiencing any kind of this type of pain.

Eat Chicken – Get Arsenic Poisoning

I always thought the main source of Arsenic Poisoning was from Treated Pine furniture and patios. It seems I was wrong. Research has come to light that chickens contain high levels of Arsenic.

Arsenic is a deadly poison. You simply don’t want it in your body. It leaves to breakdown of your brain, and eventually death!

Arsenic Can Cause Serious Damage or Even Death

Symptoms of arsenic poisoning begin with headaches, confusion and drowsiness. As the poisoning develops, convulsions and changes in fingernail pigmentation may occur. When the poisoning becomes acute, symptoms may include diarrhea, vomiting, blood in the urine, cramping muscles, hair loss, stomach pain, and more convulsions. The organs of the body that are usually affected by arsenic poisoning are the lungs, skin, kidneys, and liver. The final result of arsenic poisoning is coma or death.

According to Wikipedia, “Arsenic
poisoning
kills by allosteric inhibition of essential metabolic enzymes, leading to death from multi-system organ failure. It primarily inhibits enzymes that require lipoic acid as a cofactor, such as pyruvate and alpha-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase. Because of this, substrates before the dehydrogenase steps accumulate, such as pyruvate (and lactate). It particularly affects the brain, causing neurological disturbances and death”.

So What of Chickens?

The Organic Consumers Association in the US published the following information on a study of chickens.

“Minneapolis Brand name chicken products sold in American supermarkets and fast food restaurants are widely contaminated with arsenic, according to independent test results released today by the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy (IATP).

Testing of 155 samples from uncooked supermarket chicken products found 55 percent carried detectable arsenic. Arsenic was more than twice as prevalent in conventional brands of supermarket chicken as in certified organic and other ³premium² brands. All 90 fast food chicken products tested by IATP also contained detectable arsenic. The full report can be read at: www.iatp.org.

Arsenic in chicken meat appears closely linked to the decades-old practice of intentionally and routinely putting arsenic into chicken feed. At least 70 percent of U.S. broiler chickens have been fed arsenic, according to estimates.

³Adding arsenic to chicken feed is a needless and ultimately avoidable practice that only exposes more people to more of this ancient poison,² said Dr. David Wallinga, a physician, author of Playing Chicken: Avoiding Arsenic in Your Meat, and director of IATP¹s Food and Health program”.

Who Died From Arsenic Poisoning?

Famous people who died from this were Napoleon and George II of England. Our most famous Australian Horse, Phar Lap was killed in the US using Arsenic.

What You Can do To Prevent this

There is good news in all of this. I can’t guarantee that you won’t be exposed to Arsenic or other Heavy Metals in the food you eat. Personally we eat little chicken and then only organic because we know some of the many dangers. Recently a study was published proving that our Activated Liquid Zeolite safely removes Arsenic and other Heavy Metals from the body so we don’t have to suffer any of these things. I take it daily and will until there is something better.

For Arsenic, the recommended medical treatment causes hypertension and other challenges. This is always the problem with medication. The cure can often be more dangerous than the disease. Aren’t we lucky that the Zeolite study shows no disruption to their body process while removing dangerous heavy metals!

So what are you waiting for! Detoxing with Activated Liquid Zeolite is like insurance against the major enemy of human health, our toxic environment. A maintenance portion of Activated Liquid Zeolite costs around $1.50 a day per person and is very affordable. Of course, you may need more to counter the build up of toxins in your body.

John Gaydon has been researching Natural Health for over 25 years. Recently he came across a revolutionary new detox product which removes heavy metals and other toxins safely.
