Before starting on the product I did a Heavy Metal Urine Test which showed I was excreting cadmium.This was a complete surprise for me as no one had ever suggested Heavy Metal toxicity might be the root cause of my ill health. Can Activated Liquid Zeolite Cure Cancer?

If you look around the internet, you will find many references to Activated Liquid Zeolite and its use with Cancer. This article discusses some of the information, and attempts to take a rational viewpoint of the material with regard to what Zeolite actually does in the human body.

Recently, while is Las Vegas, I was told that preliminary research has been done taking Zeolite with a chemotherapy drug, Cyclophosphamine. Apparently this drug causes a toxin called “acrolene” when ingested which has toxic side effects. When the Activated Liquid Zeolite is taken in conjunction with the drug, the toxic effects are eliminated. This is preliminary research and it will be many years before this connection is proven by published scientific papers. It may explain why some people have less side effects from treatment when they are taking the Activated Liquid Zeolite as well.

The Critics

There is Jonathan Campbell, who asserts that activated liquid Zeolite can cause cancer. There is no evidence to back this claim. Mr Campbell sells an alternate cancer cure and has a vested interest in discrediting other products. Furthermore there are 3 classes of Zeolite. One includes asbestos, which definitely causes lung cancer. The sheath like Zeolites, of which Clinoptilolite, the Zeolite used in activated zeolite products, has been certified as GRAS (generally recognised as safe) status by the FDA in the US. This is the highest level of safety possible. Who do you trust, the FDA, or Mr Campbell?

Note: Mr Campbell’s comments have now been withdrawn because he had no proof of his claims!

The Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer center has information on its website about Zeolite. They offer the following disclaimer:

“Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center makes no warranties nor express or implied representations whatsoever regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, comparative or controversial nature, or usefulness of any information contained or referenced on this Web site. Memorial Sloan-Kettering does not assume any risk whatsoever for your use of this website or the information contained herein.”

With this in mind they make some fairly sweeping statements about Zeolites with no research to back them up! Most importantly, they lump all Zeolites in the same boat. Clinoptilolite, the particular Zeolite used in Activated Liquid Zeolite, is very different in nature to Erionite, an asbestos like substance that can cause cancer.

Mention is made of the following uses of Zeolite

“Zeolites have been studied for their applications in medicine as an external hemostatic dressing, for diarrhea, diabetes, and as suspending agents. The effect of zeolites for autism is under investigation. Zeolites have been marketed as dietary supplements for hangover and as adjuvant therapy for cancers ”

Zeolite Research

Now, let’s look at some of the research done with regards to Cancer and Zeolite.

In an article titled “Natural zeolite clinoptilolite: new adjuvant in anticancer therapy” published in the Journal of Molecular Medicine Volume 78, Number 12 / February 2001, research is detailed with Mice, Dogs and Rats, indicating the use of Zeolite reduces skin cancer tumour growth.

It states, “In vitro tissue culture studies showed that finely ground clinoptilolite inhibits protein kinase B (c-Akt), induces expression of p21^WAF1/CIP1 and p27^KIP1 tumor suppressor proteins, and blocks cell growth in several cancer cell lines. These data indicate that clinoptilolite treatment might affect cancer growth by attenuating survival signals and inducing tumor suppressor genes in treated cells”.

While this is not a study on humans, it does indicate that the use of Zeolite has some function at least in animals in tumour suppression. The p21 gene is known by scientists to suppress tumours and one of the great scientific debates is how to trigger this gene in cancer patients.

The following information is quoted on many websites. To my knowledge, it has not been substantiated or published, and the study was done by Lifelink Pharmaceuticals, of which Rik Deitsch is a director. It therefore must be taken with a grain of salt!

Reduces cancer risk. Although only one small human trial has been conducted, the results were intriguing: 78% full remission for stage 4 cancer patients (with various types of cancer). The study was an open-label trial conducted by the researchers at LifeLink Pharmaceuticals in Ohio. Although one small study is not grounds for leaping to solid conclusions about cancer, this result is promising enough to warrant additional investigation. Any anti-cancer effect is probably due to Activated liquid Zeolite’s ability to induce tumor suppressor genes that cause the body to not only halt the growth of tumor cells, but actually destroy such tumors.

Now, you must make up your own mind whether animal studies can be applied to humans, or whether Lifelink’s study is fact or fiction. All we can do is to quote the information available.

Activated Liquid Zeolite May Help!

There are some other areas where Activated liquid Zeolite could definitely help with many disease states. One is the area of body pH. Studies done invitro (in a test tube) indicate that with a pH of 7.4 or higher, cancer cells become dormant. This would indicate that if the body’s pH can be raised to this level, it is possible that it could slow down or even stop the spread of cancer.

Dr. William Kelley, in an article titles, “Cancer – Self Treatment”, suggests that “There is research indicating that cancer grows slowly in a highly acid environment (because the acids cause it to partially destroy itself) and may actually grow more quickly as your body becomes more alkaline prior to reaching the healthy pH slightly above 7.4 where the cancer becomes dormant. Therefore, you will want to get your pH above 7.4 as quickly as possible by every means available.”

This would indicate that when raising pH, it is important that it is done as quickly as possible and that as pH rises, cancer activity can increase for a while. So, one would have to be really convinced that a pH of 7.4 does effectively stop the spread of the disease before considering this action.

Often there is a challenge with Natural Remedies in that sometimes indications get worse before they normalise. This leads many physicians to recommend against the use of such products, because they see any worsening of the situation as alarming. Again, you will have to make your own mind up about this. The question then is to research alternate pathways and decide the likely outcome in each case!

Activated Liquid Zeolite, taken regularly, will increase pH into the 7.4 zone and keep it there, which I think is a good thing!

Toxins Cause Cancer

Vic Shayne, PhD in an article called’ “Ignoring the Link Between Toxins and Cancer” states, “With all of the cancer information and disinformation broadcasted continually through the major news media, rarely do we hear a mention of the greatest threat to our health – and the most prevalent cause of cancer: toxins.”

More evidence is emerging every day that there is a relationship between environmental toxins and cancer. A recent article in the Vancouver sun stated,

“Banned pesticides and other toxic chemicals lingering in the environment put people at an increased risk of developing non-Hodgkin lymphoma, according to a B.C. Cancer Agency study”.

We are rapidly approaching a point where there is little doubt that toxins are affecting our health in a negative way. In 1907 there were less than 7% of deaths from cancer. At that time no chemicals were used in agriculture. Today the death rate from cancer is over 30% and of course we have thousands of toxic substances in our food, water and air. Is this a coincidence? You decide!

Activated Liquid Zeolite, is effective in removing toxins, particularly heavy metals and organic chemicals such as dioxin, deildrin and benzene. We have done hair analysis tests before and after using the product, and although this is not a scientific controlled study, the results are documented by lab reports and are quite impressive.

More recently a peer reviewed study published by dovepress proves conclusively that Activated Liquid Zeolite increases heavy metal excretion by at least 6 times within teh first 30 days for normal individuals, passes into the blood stream where it can get to cell receptors (important for cancer sufferers) without affecting blood serum (nutritional) levels.

We look forward to further research being published that will reinforce what we already know as fact.

Conclusion

In summary, we know that Activated liquid Zeolite increases heavy metal secretion by 8-20 times baseline. We know that is increases pH to the 7.4 range. We know that it removes toxins and heavy metals from the body.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that the product will give results with any particular medical condition. We suggest you do your research. If an out of balance pH or toxic overload are likely causes of a condition, adding activated liquid zeolite to your regime won’t do any harm, and it just might work. You have very little to lose and possibly much to gain.

How Does ZeoActiv8 Compare to Activated Liquid Zeolite?

In recent times, many zeolite products have appeared. While the original Activated Liquid Zeolite remains the only fully activated and micronised product on the market, many me too products have appeared claiming to be the same or better.

 Close scrutiny of the literature will tell you that none are activated by cleaning toxins out of the cage. In addition, the micronisation process of other products is simply not as efficient as laboratory analysis of the different products demonstrates.

Will they help?

Well, yes, providing they have zeolite in them (some show no traces of zeolite). They may not enter the blood stream. and may not absorb anywhere near the quantity of toxins that Activated Liquid Zeolite does, but they will soak up some toxins and heavy metals and are certainly better than nothing.

Our concern is that promoters of these products use our information and research to back their claims! They even use our testimonials.

So what of ZeoActiv8?

This is an Australian Liquid Zeolite product, made from Australian Zeolite.

Their web site states that this product is only allowed to be used as part of a herbal mixture by health professionals. There are no clinical trials conducted with Zeo Active 8 that we are aware of. We have just had the Zeo Active8 tested by an independent Laboratory. While it would be nice to think this product was great the only advantage it has over Zeolite Powder is that it is micronized to around 3 microns particle size. Particle size ranged from 2.5 to 10 microns. That’s 3 times the particle size of Activated Liquid Zeolite, so it is much less absorbable. Activated Liquid Zeolite particle size ranged from 0.41 to 5 microns. Analysis of the Zeolite shows that raw zeolite contains 6.5 times the heavy metals of activated liquid zeolite while ZeoActiv8 contains 4.37 times the heavy metals. This means there is a much lower capacity for ZeoActiv8 and raw Zeolite to absorb heavy metals while passing through the body. 

ZeoActiv8 contains preservatives while activated liquid zeolite has none. In summary, ZeoActiv8 is probably one of the better Zeolite products. But when compared with Activated Liquid Zeolite it has only 20% of the absorption and 20% of heavy metals removal capability. Activated Liquid Zeolite once again proves to be the best Zeolite product available due to its micronisation and activation processes. ZeoActiv8 Is Raw Micronised Zeolite Not Activated In Any Way

Four Myths of Zeolite Exposed

There is a lot of information and misinformation about Zeolite on the Internet. Here we expose the four main myths circulated by some people.

Myth 1. Powdered Zeolite is the same as Liquid Zeolite.

 

Zeolite powder is very common in nature, especially around volcanoes. This mineral can be up to 600 million years old and of various classifications and sizes. Powdered Zeolite is used in all sorts of applications including animal feed, mining, filtration and clearing the soil of toxins. More recently, some of the Zeolite companies have been refining the powder to a much finer grade and offering it for human consumption. Others have taken this fine powder and suspended it in liquid, claiming it is the same as other liquid Zeolites.

 

FACT: Powdered Zeolite comes with contaminants. These are contained within the Zeolite cage. They probably won’t harm you, but when the Zeolite is already full of toxins, it is like a wet sponge, it won’t absorb any more, being inefficient at mopping up extra toxins.

 

FACT: Activated Liquid Zeolite is a Zeolite product where the toxins and heavy metals are removed prior to suspension in a liquid, preferably pure water. It is not the same as liquid Zeolite which is ground up powder in liquid.

 

Myth 2. All Activated Zeolite is the same. The only difference is Price

 

There are a few products claiming to be activated liquid Zeolite. Some are simply ground powder in water, while others use various agents to clean the Zeolite cage of contaminants.

 

FACT: There are safety issues when anything other than pure water and Zeolite are left in the Activated Liquid Zeolite solution.

 

FACT: Humic Acid, used in some Activated Liquid Zeolite products is subject to contamination by bacteria. Manufacturers claim it is a vitamin supplement adding nutrition to the Zeolite. The whole purpose of taking Zeolite is to remove contaminants, not provide nutritional supplementation.

 

FACT: Bacteria in food can produce such health challenges .

FACT: A reputable company with a proven product will provide an independent laboratory report verifying the Activated Liquid Zeolite is free of contaminants and Bacteria.

Myth 3 Zeolite cures Cancer

 

Everyone knows that cancer can’t be cured. Anyone who even infers it can is discredited and threatened by authorities – and for good reason.

 

FACT: Cancer results from cells being formed with mutations and then replicating to the point that the immune system cannot neutralise them. There is evidence that this may be caused by excess toxins.

 

FACT: The incidence of Cancer has grown from 3% of deaths in 1907 to nearly 40%. This correlates to the use of pesticides, herbicides and heavy metals in manufacturing and foodstuffs. It would appear to be more than a coincidence.

 

FACT: The only real defence against Cancer is to do what is necessary to get your immune system fully functioning. Step one is to use Activated Liquid Zeolite to remove heavy metals and toxins from the body. Step 2 is to provide necessary nutritional support and other therapies and treatments to help the immune system kill off remaining cancerous cells. Activated Liquid Zeolite doesn’t cure cancer, but it just might help.

 

Myth 4. Activated Liquid Zeolite has been around for over 4 years.

 

Any company claiming this is just plain deceitful. A patented Activated Liquid Zeolite product was first released in April 2005. This product has 30 years of research behind it. Since that time many other forms of liquid Zeolite have appeared, using flawed technologies described above.

 

Anyone who claims their product has been around before 2005 is providing misleading information.
