Beginning at birth, our bodies start storing trace amounts of toxins and other chemicals, first from breast milk, and even leaching from plastic bottles into infant formula. We then graduate to becoming storehouses for heavy metals, such as mercury and lead, and for other toxins, such as those found in household cleaners, and even in the food we eat and the air we breathe.

But  don’t take my word for it: recently, an article appeared in National Geographic called “Chemicals Within Us” that shoudl wake up all the skeptics out there.

Regular Dude, Major Problems

As told in the story, author David Ewing Duncan has expensive toxicity tests performed as an experiment for his article. Here’s an portion:

“…Last fall I had myself tested for 320 chemicals I might have picked up from food, drink, the air I breathe, and the products that touch my skin—my own secret stash of compounds acquired by merely living. It includes older chemicals that I might have been exposed to decades ago, such as DDT and PCBs; pollutants like lead, mercury, and dioxins; newer pesticides and plastic ingredients; and the near-miraculous compounds that lurk just beneath the surface of modern life, making shampoos fragrant, pans nonstick, and fabrics water-resistant and fire-safe.
The tests are too expensive for most individuals—National Geographic paid for mine, which would normally cost around $15,000—and only a few labs have the technical expertise to detect the trace amounts involved. I ran the tests to learn what substances build up in a typical American over a lifetime, and where they might come from. I was also searching for a way to think about risks, benefits, and uncertainty—the complex trade-offs embodied in the chemical “body burden” that swirls around inside all of us.

Far-fetched? Not at all. And it doesn’t stop there. A chemist told Duncan that he didn’t want to make him “nervous”, but that he should know about extremely dangerous levels of PBPEs (a chemical found in flame-retardant items) in his system. Other toxins found in the author’s body included mercury, PFAs (found in banned stain repellents), DDT (a pesticide banned in the 1960s), bisphenol A, phthalates, and more; all of which can and do contribute to physical and neurological illnesses.

So Why Is He Toxic?

Ewing began a quest to find out where he might have picked up so many toxins. Guess what? He doesn’t come up with anything really extraordinary; he’s lived and worked and traveled no differently than millions of other Americans.

In all likelihood, we’re just as poisoned as he is. Most can’t afford $15,000 in tests, so what to do?

One answer, and probably the most obvious, is to search for a way to detox. We all know the toxins are there — so the solution is to get rid of them! But is it necessary to to put one’s self through traditional (and most likely, less effective) cleansing processes? Yes, I was walking in the bush just 5 minutes from home with my wife and daughter, when we came across one of Australia’s most notorious Reptiles, a Death Adder. It looked just like the one in the picture, sunning itself on a rock.

We were about 3 meters away when we saw it, and gazed at each other for quite a while. These snakes can strike to about 60 cm, although you have to step on them to get bitten, and they are the fifth deadliest snake on the planet. This was a visible killer, and even thought it’s bite is often fatal, the invisible killers in the form of toxins, heavy metals and pesticides are far more lethal to humans.

It’s good to look at some basic chemistry and understand why heavy metals, particularly mercury and cadmium
are so dangerous in the body and how they prevent zinc absorption.

• Zinc, is crucial for proper immune and metabolic function, although ionic (unbound) zinc is toxic.
  
• Cadmium, commonly found in cigarettes, is toxic to both smoker and passive smoker.
  
• Mercury, found in amalgam fillings, and sea food has no known use in the body and is even more poisonous.
  

This simple group of elements, all have +2 electrical charge, and varying atomic weights.

Zinc (Zn 2+) Atomic weight, 65

Cadmium (Cd2+) Atomic weight, 112

Mercury (Hg2+) Atomic weight, 200

“Cadmium and mercury, will attempt to fill the same receptor sites as zinc, their presence will prevent zinc absorption.”

This is like a 65 kg person (zinc) competing with 112 kg (cadmium) and 200kg (mercury) people in a game of musical chairs. This is known as “fight for site” and its not hard to see who is going to win; the 112 and 200 pound bullies, cadmium and mercury. Bullies get the hot seat , they fill up the places where zinc should be, but are unable to do zincs job in initiating immune function and myriad of other metabolic processes.

So where does this leave the essential mineral Zinc?
Just hanging around in an unbound form (ionic) creating an avalanche of free radicals which in turn oxidise.

You need to note that zinc is one of the most important minerals needed by the body. Zinc facilitates in the production of hundreds of enzymes in the body, each of which are responsible for regulating bodily functions.

Copper is another case in point, an essential mineral easily displaced by mercury. High toxic accumulation of copper for example can be the cause of Parkinson’s symptoms , anaemia, allergies, hair loss, appetite disturbance, hyperactivity, low thyroid activity, headaches, skin conditions, constipation, learning disabilities, and/or depression.

If through testing, high levels of ionic zinc or copper are noted , it generally wont be because of an exposure, but because something is blocking the absorption and unbound minerals are building up in the body.

So we can now understand how deficiencies of essential minerals occur, not always because of poor diet , but through high body burden of heavy metals that dont allow for correct absorption.

This is the reason I have such a passion for the use of Activated Liquid Zeolite, we know that it removes from the body the Heavy metals that caused deranged mineral transport in the body.

We don’t need to be concerned about it removing the essential minerals , because not only is it charge specific in what it allows into its molecular “cage”, but it is also size specific and our essential minerals wont bind inside the zeolite.

Autism

Hi John, my granddaughter has autism, I have been treating her with herbs for long time. She did improve but slowly.

When I gave her Activated Liquid Zeolite, she improved more and now she plays with other children especially with her brother and sister. She talks but when she wants to and repeats what everyone says like a cockatoo.

She is 7 years old, and has started school for special needs. I am hoping for her to improve more and will be normal child. The doctors say it is genetic, but I don’t believe it because we don’t have anyone else in my family or my daughter in law’s family with autism.

Over the last couple of months I found that my glasses weren’t working as well anymore. I play lawn bowls and found distances were becoming blurry and especially driving at night, lights were becoming fuzzy and couldn’t read street signs. I also found I had to take them off to read.

New glasses I decided were needed as I imagined my eyesight had worsened.

Today I had my eyes examined and to my surprise my myopia has improved and my long sightedness (reading) had also improved. There is not a  trace of cataracts or molecular degeneration, and I must confess I had been a heavy smoker most of my life.

I told the optometrists I had been taking Activated liquid Zeolite (explained to him what the benefits are) and I believe the reason my sight had improved, not worsened is because after my initial detox 10 drops 3 times a day for 4 to 6 weeks I continue with a maintenance dose of 3 drops 3 times a day?

I asked him if maybe because I am continually getting rid of heavy metals and toxins from my body if this may have something to do with the fact my eyesight is improving, rather than worsening as it has for the past 43 years.

My optometrist said it has nothing to do with that because as we get older our shortsightedness seems to improve and our long sightedness is supposed to get worse!

My question to him was, as far as I knew most people, including myself who need glasses, always found their sight became worse not better! I did some research on MedicineNet.com and found this “Sometimes the condition plateaus, or sometimes it worsens with age”. I could not find any reference to myopia or long sightedness improving?

Something I would like to share! During our regular Monday night “Toxic World” call there are always stories from several persons who began taking Activated Liquid Zeolite for a specific reason i.e. chronic fatigue, eczema, depression, heavy metal and toxic overload and the list goes on. It was then that I realized my psoriasis on my feet, which I had been suffering from in varying degrees for over four years had completely disappeared. Remarkable!

I was originally introduced to Zeolite in January 2008 when I had shingles which disappeared after only 10 days and for any one who has ever suffered from shingles knows just how painful they are and how difficult to get rid of! When I was better I stopped taking the Zeolite and although I was taking natural supplements and looking after my health, in November 2008 I had a relapse of chronic amoebic liver abscesses that I have been suffering from since 1998.

I was in hospital for a week. I must say I was looked after very well while I was there and have only good things to say about the nurses and doctors who looked after me. I had one abscesses aspirated which did help. I was also receiving antibiotics intravenously for the full week and I’m sure this helped a bit but I was told that I would continue to suffer from these abscesses as there was no real way besides antibiotics to treat them. When I was discharged a week later there were still seven abscesses on my liver. They are all gone thanks to Zeolite and other remarkable products which keep my immune system healthy. But I digress.

Later that evening during our business call several of us were discussing the different reasons we began taking the Zeolite drops and we all agreed that we found other problems that had been with us for sometimes years, were also “going away”! In my case my psoriasis, I can wear open shoes again. The first week or so I had a terrible metallic taste in my mouth, which indicated to me that I had heavy metals in my system.  

Soon after that I did have a pain in my liver area that lasted a couple of days but by the 3rd week the detox symptoms eased and I felt much better.  

I have also suffered from hay fever and other allergies for most of my life and was taking daily antihistamines to deal with the symptoms.  While I was taking the Activated Liquid Zeolite I soon noticed I was “forgetting” to take the antihistamines because my symptoms seemed to have disappeared.

 Gradually I completely stopped taking them while I was on the Activated Liquid Zeolite. Consequently I did not take one antihistamine tablet during the Hay fever Season.

Unfortunately, I stopped taking the drops for about 6 months as financially things were hard while building a new home.  My overall health and in particular my allergies and sinus problems came back stronger than ever.  I tried a cheaper Zeolite which found on the internet, but in made no difference to either my son or myself.

A few years ago during the last great flu epidemic, the bird flu, millions of Ingham’s chickens were slaughtered and buried in containers in this area. My baby was born full-term weighing a healthy 9 ½ lbs, but from her first feed she was extremely unsettled. 

Eczema Rash Developed After 4 Weeks

At four weeks she developed a rash, which steadily grew worse & was diagnosed as eczema.  Our family doctor prescribed a number of different creams to try – one for the face, another for the cracked & bleeding toes, another to cracks behind the ears, under the arms, behind the knees & on her neck which was raw and very hard to dry & dress  -  this required two people as the baby was so distressed.  The doctor also prescribed a lactose-free formula for her supplementary feeds and referred her to the paediatric allergist at Brisbane Children’s Hospital.

Frequently I am asked what is the difference between traditional chelating agents such as EDTA, DMSA, and DMPS, and Activated Liquid zeolite. If you have investigated the medical treatments you will discover, for instance that normally the considered level for treatment of Lead poisoning is 50 microliters per deciliter, whereas the W.H.O. suggests that 10 microliters per deciliter is the maximum limit. Researchers such as Dr Stephen Gail, expert from the University of Sydney, suggest that any level of lead in the body is unsafe. A similar situation occurs for Mercury.

Why do Doctors only recommend chelation in extreme cases, and then only for short bursts?

Lead and Mercury are stored in fat tissue, bones and other body cells. It doesn’t release easily, hence the medicos use chelation in short bursts to get the body to excrete it. While these protocols work, there are unfortunate side effects as with all medication that make it extremely risky long term. My understanding is that you should never use these protocols for more than 3 months at a time.

EDTA, DMSA and other chelation protocols pose a number of challenges. They put a chelating agent into the body with a specific negative charge. This attracts particles with the opposite positive charge and binds them to the outside of the chelating agent, i.e. lead is +2. Heavy metal particles powerfully bond with cell receptors, and need this sort of force to let go.

Chelation Robs The Body Of Vital Nutrients

Other particles with +2 valence include Sodium and Magnesium, vital minerals for good health. These may displace the heavy metals on the chelating agent leaving the toxins deposited somewhere else in the body. There is usually a requirement for additional vitamin and mineral supplements to replace nutrients soaked up by the chelating agent. Because the heavy metals are attached to the outside of the chelating agent, they can damage kidneys and liver during elimination.

As stated before, it can take some time to release an accumulated build up of heavy metals and toxins. Because they are foreign to normal body function many of us are less than efficient in eliminating them, a popular myth spread by Doctors who know nothing about detoxification. I find it astounding that in 2009, some Doctors are still saying that the body will naturally eliminate toxins, and there is no need to do anything about it. Even worse are health authorities who say the solution to serious lead poisoning in such places as Mt Isa, Cockle Creek, and Esperance in Australia is simply to remove the contamination. Naturally this is a good thing, but what of the personal contamination to the people and children who live n these areas?

Living with constant arthritic joint pain was such a depressing drag – until I found Liquid Zeolite.  Now I have thrown away my glucosamine and anti-inflammatory medication and am enjoying life in a way that I haven’t known for years.

What Is Zeolite Enhanced with DHQ?

Many of you have heard of a liquid Zeolite product marketed by the “Liquid Zeolite Company”. It is sometimes called “Zeolite Enhanced”, or Zeolite Enhanced with DHQ.” You may have seen their web site where they compare their product to Activated Liquid Zeolite, providing the impression their product is superior.

You may have read the reports on cancerfightingstrategies.com which used to be free, but are now sold. This site has been forced to change its content several times because they used testimonials which were obtained using Activated Liquid Zeolite, and not their product.

A Case Study Demonstrates The Difference!

Here is the sad case of Tony Perkins, who had a 6 fold decrease in lead levels verified by Hair Analysis after 3 months using Activated Liquid Zeolite. Considering how high his lead levels were (11 ppm and off the scale) when he started.

He started on Activated Liquid Zeolite in March 2007 at a rate of 30 drops a day. Just 3 months later. He had another Hair analysis test which showed a lead level of 2 ppm, an 82% reduction in lead level. The report shows 22% reduction in Aluminium, 35% in Nickel, and 47% reduction in strontium.

Tony switched to the Liquid Zeolite company product after his Doctor recommended it to save money. After 6 months using 60 drops a day, he had another analysis. It showed NO IMPROVEMENT in any heavy metal levels. In fact Arsenic increased 18.5%, Aluminium 14%, Nickel 117% and Strontium 47%. He was so mad, he called it a scam!

When I questioned the efficacy of this product, sold for as little as $5 a bottle on Ebay, I was referred to the Ebay sales statistics! These days, their testimonial pages quote comments from Ebay users!

How could this happen?

This is an indication that heavy metals are being released by the body, but not excreted. When the Zeolite is not activated, it has limited absorption. It simply can’t keep up with the rate of release of the toxins, so they build up in the body.

This is a typical example of Zeolite products which aren’t activated. When we advise you to stay away from Zeolite products which are not activated, and have no independent testing as to safety and efficacy, we do so for a reason. We don’t want you to waste your money on an unproven product, and then, when you don’t get the results thousands are experiencing with Activated Liquid Zeolite, you might think that Zeolite doesn’t work! That would be a real shame and may prevent you gaining better health and more vitality.

How to tell inferior, questionable Zeolite products.

Independent testing has been done for several products. These include ZeoActiv8 which is not activated at all, ZNatural with no discernable Zeolite in it, and Zeolite Enhanced, where some samples showed Bacteria in the Humic acid. Yet to be published studies using Activated Liquid Zeolite with Virginia Coal Miners demonstrated a similar excretion level of heavy metals to traditional medical chelators without the side effects, so why would you use anything else?

So there you have it. Activated Liquid Zeolite is the real deal. Cheaper products are either not activated at all, or worse still, how much zeolite is in them? Why would you add humic acid to a detox product that works best in pure water? I can think of only one reason – marketing.

A Doctor who looked quite pretty was talking about Detox saying it was totally unnecessary and a waste of time and had no effect on your health. This Doctor advised everyone to not waste their money detoxing. In her opinion it was a fad.
