Today the incidence of pet disease is as prolific as human disease.

When I was a kid, the vet only came to inseminate the cows or treat a case of blood poisoning when the horse jumped the fence and cut his leg.

If the dog got a cut, he would lick it for a while, hide somewhere while it healed and emerge none the worse for wear a day later.

If the cat felt sick it went out to eat grass and was OK by the next meal time.

What has changed?

Today there are as many Vetinary Clinics as Human Clinics. It’s crazy!

I keep hearing stories of bills big enough to send a family on holiday being spent on some intricate operation on a pet!

Cancers are as common as fleas and people spend as much time running the dog to the vet as they do enjoying their company!

The whole fiasco of operations and x-rays and drug costs is ludicrous.

So why are pets sick so often?

Owning a pet used to be fun and the family dog and cat just existed without any bother to anyone.

Both cat and dog ate mostly what fell off the table; Rover had a bone to bury and was generally a happy companion you could let out to run about the neighbourhood with your kids. The cat ate mice and some of your leftovers too and did very well on that diet.

Today the poor creatures are locked up in toxic homes, ferried around in toxic cars, breathe the same toxic air that we do and drink the same fluoridated water we do.

Ever had a problem with the dog’s teeth before fluoridation?

Back  then they ate raw meat and lived outside the house most of the time, buried bones and gnawed on them instead of toxic plastic bones.

Now they are fed on manufactured “plastic food” which is made out of offal and off cuts and the fattier parts of the meat and fish. Fat is a great store house of toxins and it’s no wonder that our animals are as sick as us.

We are all eating from the public feeding trough, poisoned, dead and artificial food.

There is hope for us and the pets!

The body is a remarkable machine. (Human and animal)

Every cell has been programmed to work at optimal capacity to cleanse, regenerate, replicate and heal.

The ONLY criteria are that the MATERIAL needed to do these 4 essential functions is available to the cells at all times.

As we can only use “food” to nourish our bodies, we need to ensure that only the best and nutritious food is eaten, in small rather than large quantities.
If food is of poor quality or has little nutrient content or even if we eat more than we need, then the body has to dispose of the residue.

This is a strain on the digestive system and uses energy needed to function and lead a fulfilled life.

If the food we eat is contaminated with toxic matter of any kind and the body can’t eliminate it there and then, rather than keep it in circulation it stores it in tissue and bones.

We then need to take extra measure to get rid of these stored toxins. Some digestive cleanses are recommended and also skin brushing, sauna, exercise etc.

If it’s affecting you, it’s affecting your pet as well.

The most difficult “stored” elements to remove from the body are the group of toxins known as “heavy metals”. Some of these are lead, mercury, aluminium, copper, zinc, depleted uranium, arsenic and others.

It takes a very special type of compound to remove these heavy metals from the cells without damaging the delicate tissues of entire body system, with the brain, the kidneys and the arteries being very sensitive to damage.

Positive ions are nasties. We associate the word positive with “good”.

We need a “catcher” to grab the crazy radicals.

Recycled Water: How safe is it?

I live near Melbourne Vic Australia, on the Mornington Peninsula. Along with every other thinking person, the lack of water is of concern to me and I practice water conservation in my own lifestyle.

A friend recently alerted me to the Melbourne Water webpage http://www.melbournewater.com.au and told me to check out the recycled water section. After reading it I have to say that I agree that this is needed and in theory have no problems with the practice.

I do have a few questions and these are:

• How much of the pesticides are removed?
  
• How much of the drugs that are passed through people are still in the water?
  

It seems to me that if this water is used for parks and gardens it may be safe but what of the market gardens?

There is such an increase of ill health and even people who eat the “right diet” are becoming ill.

It appears that the more sensitive one is to pollutants the more sensible one becomes in ones approach to health. (In some cases; there are people who still prefer drugs to treat nutritional deficiencies)

These people, whose immune systems have been compromised by one or a combination of the practices common in our drug ruled society, these people then, who turn to fresh foods as their healing method are still as much in danger as the healthier types who eat and drink from the public feeding trough (fats food etc)

The person who is sensitive to drugs and chemicals and chooses to eat mainly fruits and vegetable may still be exposed to the same dangers as the rest of the population because if the recycled water is contaminated with traces of drugs and chemicals then would it not be taken up by the plants, who are not able to distinguish a chemical from an organic substance. This is how our crops are being poisoned in massive market gardens by the use of chemical fertilizers. Is it possible that we will now get a double dose of a toxic cocktail? Or are we receiving this already.

Recycled water can be used for just about anything, as long as it has been treated to the right level. The right level of treatment would depend on how the water will be used. For example, will recycled water be used to water fruit orchards, parks and gardens? Or, will it be used to cool power stations?

The most common uses for recycled water include:

• Irrigating farms and market gardens
  
• watering parks, gardens, golf courses
  
• industrial processes in factories
  
• toilet flushing
  
• washing and cooling in power stations and mills.
  

Other possible uses include:

• fire fighting
  
• council sport grounds and new housing estates
  
• topping up wetlands and maintaining river flow
  

It is now also possible to produce safe drinking water from sewage. In several countries sewage is recycled to drinking water (potable) quality (e.g. Orange County, California, USA and Singapore). This does not occur in Australia. However, some local councils with severe water shortages are considering this option.”

 

The right level here seems to be the operative word!

The lack of water here in Melbourne may make the last paragraph a reality. Unless a cast iron guarantee is given that all drug residues is removed from the recycled water it is not an option that inspires me with confidence. There are far too many “human factors” involved and the thought of recycled sewage in the hands of someone who has had a bad night’s sleep or is not 100% on the job in charge of my drinking water is not a prospect I look forward to.

What to do?
