Considering Zeolites have been lying around for thousands of years , it is pretty amazing that they are only seen as a recent phenomena as an aid to maintaining vital health. In its natural state, Zeolite is a rock with a negatively charged molecule akin to honeycombe with a hollow centre. Zeolite has been used in traditional medicine in some  Asian countries for hundreds of years, especially for colon care. More recently, it is used in water filtration, to cleanse soil of toxins and contaminants, and in animal feed to remove contaminants.

 

The difficulty has been in producing a product suitable for human consumption.

 

There are 49 naturally occurring Zeolites in nature. They come in three families.

1. The first category includes asbestos. These Zeolites are bad and cause cancer
2. Globular Zeolites are very large and used as anti caking agents
3. Sheath like Zeolites are thin sheaves and include Cliniptilolite These are used in air and water purifiers and animal feed to counter heavy metals. They have been used in traditional medicine for over 800 years.

 

Introducing biochemist Rik Deitsch.

This brilliant young scientist is CEO of a company called Nutrapharma. What this company does is to search patents and look for innovative ideas that have not been followed up on, due to insufficient funding, or lack of marketing skills. Rik discovered a US patent no 6,288,045 B1 for an Epithelial Cell Cancer Drug. This got his attention as these days, the quest to find a cure for cancer is probably the number one goal of medicine. He then contacted Lifelink Pharmsaceuticals, the owner of the patent and negotiated an exclusive agreement to manufacture and distribute this patented technology.

 

After hiring a consultant to determine what was required to register this as a cancer drug, he quickly realized that the cost of the necessary research was simply too prohibitive, so plans were abandoned. There was something very interesting in the patent documents. It is stated that “It is well known that chemicals cause 95% of all cancers contracted by humans”. This may explain that while in 1907, only 7% of the population would be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, today this happens to 30-50% of us. How many people do you know who have had cancer? On closer examination, it turns out that Zeolite is particularly efficient at scavenging Toxic Chemicals and Heavy Metals.

 

With the hope of registering the product as a cancer drug gone, Rik decided to use Natural Zeolite as a supplement to remove Heavy Metals from the body. While the FDA granted Clinoptilolite, the Zeolite used for humans, GRAS (Generally Recognised As Safe) Status declaring it one of the safest substances we can take, Rik realized that to get into the bloodstream and scavange heavy metals from individual cells, the Zeolite would have to be ground to a very small particle size, typically less than 5 microns.

 

At this size, it was no longer possible to use the raw powder. It would be so fine that you couldn’t even see the particles. It was decided to suspend the particles in pure water. This created liquid zeolite.

 

Zeolites are negatively charged, and in nature they collect negatively charged particles and store them within the Zeolite structure.  With traditional Zeolite products, the Zeolite cage is full of these toxins, resulting in limited absorption as they move through the body. The second huge difference using the new technology was to remove these contaminants, making activated liquid zeolite super absorbant. We have found that through careful study of the information available, there is only one Zeolite product that is fully activated, even though many claim to be.
