Unsettled Baby With Severe Eczema – Now With Beautiful, Baby Skin!

By Rell Nielsen

My baby was born full-term weighing a healthy 9 ½ lbs, but from her first feed she was extremely unsettled.

Eczema Rash Developed After 4 Weeks

relljrAt four weeks she developed a rash, which steadily grew worse & was diagnosed as eczema.  Our family doctor prescribed a number of different creams to try – one for the face, another for the cracked & bleeding toes, another to cracks behind the ears, under the arms, behind the knees & on her neck which was raw and very hard to dry & dress  -  this required two people as the baby was so distressed.  The doctor also prescribed a lactose-free formula for her supplementary feeds and referred her to the paediatric allergist at Brisbane Children’s Hospital.

The clinic nurse also recommended topical creams, etc, suitable laundry detergent and dietary changes for the breastfeeding mum.

We tried lotions etc which friends had found helpful for eczema, and baby was taken to recommended Bowen therapists and naturopaths where further products and treatments were tried. We appreciated any suggestion that could offer any sort of relief, and a lot of things did help in some way, for a time at least.

The Breakthrough

When baby was around 6 mths old, a wonderful friend phoned & asked if we had tested for heavy metals.  She sent a home urine-test kit which showed both mother & baby had heavy metals, and breast-milk also showed a mercury reading.  So, baby was weaned onto a bottle and our friend had us start a course of Activated Liquid Zeolite to remove these toxins.

By the time baby got to see the allergist, she was 9 mths old and as her skin was quite clear, a nurse suggested taking photos of her eczema along, to prove how severe it had been to qualify for the appointment!

Look At Her Now – What A Blessing!

This little girl is now 12 months old with no heavy metal showing in her urine test!  We believe a detox by Activated Liquid Zeolite has helped to achieve her beautiful, baby skin!  She does occasionally get an itchy spot on her leg or some other place, so no-one is saying the eczema is forever gone, but we are very thankful for the HUGE recovery she’s had.

Works For Mum Too

Since my follow-up urine test isn’t showing heavy metal either, I’ve noticed that cystic breast-lumps/soreness have disappeared, a cyst on the scalp has shrunk, menstrual heaviness has abated somewhat and tooth sensitivity has gone.

Some of the children have tried the zeolite and noticed white coating on the tongue has disappeared, improvement in a skin rash and no further cold-sores.

Narelle grew up on a wheat/sheep farm, worked for 10 years in hospitals, married and had five children then gained a certificate in Natural Therapy.   Baby number six arrived and the above story began!  She can be contacted regarding this story via www.zeolitesrite.com  or ph 07 46932318.

  1. What an inspirational story. How many babies are there out there with excema and who thinks to test them for toxicity?
Mostly they’re treated with steroids to suppress the immune system.I guess as an emergency measure we try anything to make little ones comfortable.
The skin is the bodies largest elimination organ and it stands to reason that the body will try to send the toxins out through the skin if all other elimination systems are over loaded.
The thing to remember is, that the baby has already absorbed mercury in utero,( pregnancy mobilises toxins), if mother has mercury in her and because mercury attaches so well to the fatty tissue, it is stored in the breast tissue and then excreted in the milk.
Thankfully we can remove this so easily and safely with zeolite, another good reason to include zeolite in your pre-pregnancy plan.

  2. Did anyone else listen to the conference call with Rik Deitsch tonight? Rik is the biochemist behind the development of this product. Rik answered a very important question as to whether it was safe to use Activated Liquid Zeolite with pregnant and nursing mothers. The answer was a resounding yes. In fact he said with the amount of toxicity being measured in new borns it would be a good idea to have it mandated that all women of child bearing age take it to reduce the amount of toxicity that is passing from mother to baby in utero and via the breast milk. Hopefully more women will take this information on board and help to nurture toxin free babies. After all I think it is their birthright.

  3. Eczema can be managed by using corticosteroids to reduce inflammation and an antihistamine to reduce itching. it is also wise to avoid dairy products and nuts if you have food allergy.

Eczema is a very itchy disease. what i do is use sulfur soap when cleaning the affected area of the skin and take some anti-histamine if the itchiness is severe.

  5. Deborah Howlett says:

Corticosteroids may have a place as an emergency treatment but the side effects of long term usage are a high price to pay. Why not work on the root cause of the problem with liquid zeolite. This wont cause any unwanted side effects and will remove products such as heavy metals, that have no place in a human body. Not only will it help resolve such an unpleasant problem as eczema it also removes the products which could cause cancer and neurotoxicity in the future. htp://www.MenlhaHealing.com

i suffer from Eczema and what i do is just take as much vitamins A, C and E supplements plus some topical corticosteroid to remedy the itch.

I am amazed that people just don’t get it.
Allergies are caused by antogens from the environment. These come from a whole range of substances toxic to humans.

Medications can temporarily relieve the symptoms of a whole lot of conditions and it usually says so on the label!

If you are not satisfied with a quick fix and understand that most medications slowly poison you (the reason you should only take them for a short time) then you will look at removing the cause fo allergies.

The answer is to get the poisons out of your system with activated liquid zeolite, and start supplementing nutrients so your cells become so strong, they can no longer be attacked.

I am 58 and don’t know what an allergy is! I have been using supplements and highly nutritional food for over 30 years. I know many others who are healthy who have the same experience.

The question is, are you looking for a quick fix, or a solution?

Am wondering if any eczema sufferers reading this have had a test for heavy metals, or if the Ionic Heavy Metal Testkit (IHMT)is available where you live? I’d be extremely interested to hear from any who find they do have heavy metals, are interested to try removing the toxins & see if the eczema disappears also. Please read the update on our baby daughter and let me know if I can help in any way..

  9. Rell Nielsen says:

My last update seems to have disappeared, but since then, about two mths ago, our daughter (now over 2 yrs old) having been eczema-free for over a year, started getting that dreaded eczema again! We hadn’t maintained her zeolite drops (you know how one forgets when one is well)and so did another IHMT from her potty and sure enough, heavy metals showed up, even tho none showed up when she was eczema-free. So, back on zeolite and thankfully, she’s been totally eczema-free again for several weeks. Tricia says that children can absorb lead, etc 7-times-faster (I think) than adults, which may explain why her IHMT is showing heavy metals & mine isn’t.

  10. Dave says:

Always nice to hear success stories. Congratulations to you and your daughter for making this breakthrough.

  11. Wow, I never thought about the metals in one’s water in that way. I think if I do ever have a child, I would have my water tested first thing.

      Hi Tom,

The best way is to filter all your drinking water at least. A shower filter can help too.

We use a lot of water, so toxins present ahve a greater effect in water.

      Many thanks for your comment.

This post somehow made me shed tears in my eyes. Babies supposed not to suffer from this disease. It is really hard especially for their parents. Nice post, it is really inspiring..

  13. Luisa May says:

    @Mel
“Babies supposed not to suffer from this disease. ”

Yes, babies are just babies so we need to take care of our babies so that they will not suffer on that kind of disease.
